Karacaören Pond
Karacaören Pond, located near Karacaören village, which is 12 km from Kızılcahamam district centre and 8 km from Kızılcahamam-Güdül Highway, was built for irrigation purposes. Located on a slope dominating Kirmir Stream Valley, the vicinity of the pond is suitable for tent camping, photosafari, riding and nature walks. There is an Ottoman Period mosque, fountain and mansions in the village.

Kösrelik Pond
The pond located 2 km in the northeast of Kösrelik village and 17 kilometres away from downtown Keçiören, is suitable for line fishing, trekking and photosafari. The flora around the pond is rich. There are also fossil beds in the district.

Güvem Basalt Columns
These are hexagonal prism-shaped rocks rich in iron and magnesium, formed by volcanic eruptions 25 million years ago near the town of Güvem. Basalt columns, locally known as Soap Rocks because they resemble soap bars in shape, and the surrounding area are suitable for photosafari.

Girl's Hill Natural Monument
Kız Tepesi, designated as a natural monument in 2019, is located within the Davutoğlan Bird Sanctuary in the district of Nallıhan. The area, which is also very close to Juliopolis, is situated at the northwestern end of the Sarıyar Reservoir Lake. Located near Çayırhan Neighborhood, Kız Tepesi adds value to the Bird Sanctuary area by offering a magnificent view with its colorful appearance resulting from its geological structure. Formed 10 million years ago during the Late Miocene Period and shaped by the surrounding lakes and subsidence, this geological masterpiece attracts visitors with its visual feast of harmonious brown, gray, and yellow hues. Scientific studies continue on this Natural Monument, similar to those found in China, Peru, and America.

Historical and National Park of Sakarya Pitched Battle
"Pitched Battle of Sakarya, one of the most important turning points of the War of Independence, was fought in the borders of Polatlı and Haymana. The 13,850-hectare site, the scene of the war, was declared a national park in 2015. Historical and National Park of Sakarya Pitched Battle consists of 14 sections and covers a battle ground of 100 km. In an effort to determine where Sakarya Pitched Battle took place, the traces of the war that have come down to today such as trenches, cemeteries of the martyrs, and buildings used in the battle were ascertained. Locations of great significance for the War of Independence, such as Mangal Mountain, Yıldız Mountain, Türbetepe, Duatepe, Kartaltepe, Karatepe, and Sarıçaltepe are in the boundaries of the National Park."

Taburoğlu Castle
Taburoğlu Castle, located in Kızılhisar of Demirözü village, which is 34 kilometers away from Haymana district centre, was built on a steep rocky hill at an altitude of 300 meters. The western and southern parts of the Byzantine Castle are very steep. In the east, there are round towers built of roughly rectangular cut local limestone. The northern walls are made of spolia and built with pentagonal bastions close to each other. Inside the castle are the remains of a church and some other buildings. Also, there are İneağa and Kızılhisar caves in Demirözü.
Haymana
Gençlik Park
The first Ankara park of the Republic Period, Gençlik Park is an entertainment and sightseeing venue located at the centre of the city. Construction of the park began in 1936 and took 7 years to complete. In 2007 a big renovation and renewal project was undertaken, and Gençlik Park is once again open to visitors. Booths selling souvenirs and a tourist information office are located near Metro Gate of the park and there are kiosks, tea gardens and cafes inside the park. Gençlik park is also one of the social spaces adding value to the cultural life of Ankara with its theatre building, women’s support centre, tourist information office set up to give guidance to foreign visitors, wedding hall, culture and youth centres, Municipality reception hall, tea gardens, restaurants and walking areas. Its parking lot located near the Train Station entrance has a size of 2800 square metres and a capacity of 93 vehicles. There are open parking areas located in two different areas inside the park.

Cimşit Cave
This manmade cave located on the Pırallar spot in Cimşit Neighbourhood of Gölbaşı is very important. The cave has a small entrance on the side of a brook, overlooking a flatland on a rocky location. Its corridor consists of small side rooms and another corridor that narrows as it goes. It is thought that the cave was built for the purpose of worship and protection during Byzantian or Roman periods.

Salt Lake
Salt Lake and its surroundings, located at the Kaman road junction of the Ankara- Şereflikoçhisar Highway, is visited by hundreds of bird species for sheltering, wintering and incubation. The region draws attention for the endemic plants. There are social facilities and a free entrance to Salt Lake at Kaman crossroad. Salt Lake is one of the richest basins of Turkey because of the presence of birds living in the surrounding small lakes and marshes. This region is on the migration route of wild birds. Moreover, the absence of an important wetland in the middle of the steppe other than the lake and its surroundings directs migratory birds to Salt Lake. Due to its high salt content, the lake which does not freeze in winter, is also a good shelter for migratory birds. It is also a gene bank for species resistant to salt and drought. Salt Lake which meets 60% of the salt need of Turkey, is also suitable for birdwatching and photosafari.

Pazar Stream Valley
The waters of Öyük Stream, fed by the slopes of the Kurumcu Mountain, also merge into Pazar Stream that starts at Çamlıdere Bayındır Dam Lake. Holding on its flow in a narrow and steep canyon, the stream passes near Alicin Monastery and Pazar Strait and joins Kirmir Stream near the town of Çeltikçi. In the valley, there are natural caves and caves carved for settlement purposes. Ağsar Castle and Alicin Monastery are also located in the valley. Pazar Stream Valley is suitable for hiking, photosafari and bird watching activities.

Akyurt Culture Park
Historical artifacts collected from various locations in the Akyurt district are exhibited at Akyurt Culture Park. The museum displays approximately 50 historical artifacts, including church columns, altars, milestones, lion statues, pithoi, and inscriptions. The site also includes an archaeological park and a tablet printing area.

Çağlayık Nature Area
It is the area near Polatlı Yeniköseler Neighbourhood where Sakarya River flows through a steep and deep valley. It merges with Ankara Stream in this area. The obstacles in the river causes the formation of small waterfalls in the area. Çağlayık, a natural environment that appeals to both the eye and the ear, is suitable for photosafari, hiking and bird watching.
