Kumludoruk Hill

Kumludoruk Hill is located in the centre of the town of Ayaş. Discovered by various universities, organizations and societies, the 330-meter-tall-hill is suitable for paragliding throughout the year. Turkish paragliding records have been set in the area since 2009. The area hosts national and international sports events as well as trainings provided by the aforementioned university clubs, organizations, and societies.

Ankara 75th Year Hıppodrome

Ankara 75th Year Hippodrome is in the borders of Yenimahalle district, on Ayaş-Ankara Highway. Ankara 75th Year Hippodrome, that was put into service in 1998 on the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic in Turkey, was established on an area of 1,383,282 square meters and consists of a tribune, the ground floor and 4 floors. In the tribune building, there are numbered boxes, observation terraces, and special boxes for the president and the diplomatic corps. It has a total capacity of 8,700 people, of which 6,400 are standing and 2,300 are seated. Horse riding activities are carried out for children with pony horses in the hippodrome. The hippodrome, which has a large picnic area and a park within its borders, is a suitable place to rest on days when races are not run.

Eryaman Stadıum

Eryaman Stadium was built after the demolition of 19 Mayıs Stadium which was in downtown Ankara. Eryaman Stadium is located in the Eryaman district within the borders of Etimesgut. The stadium, which is allocated to Ankara’s professional football teams Gençlerbirliği and MKE Ankaragücü, has a capacity of 22.000 people. There are heating and irrigation systems in the stadium. There are shopping malls and parks near the stadium. The foundation of the stadium was laid on 5 May 2016 and opened on 28 January 2019. The first match held on the inauguration day of the stadium was between MKE Ankaragücü and Alanyaspor.

Traditional Sports Facility

Opreated by the Turkish Traditional Sports Branches Federation, the Traditional Sports Youth and Sports Club Facility was opened on 13 January 2021. The facility, consisting of an area of 32,446 square meters in total, offers classes on horse riding, traditional Turkish archery and Olympic archery.
