Recipe
To prepare Sakala Sünen Soup, which is widely consumed in the region, green lentils are first boiled and drained. Water is then added to the cooked lentils, and the mixture is brought to a boil once again. Roasted flour and homemade noodles are subsequently incorporated. Once the noodles are cooked, the pot is removed from the heat and finished with a drizzle of butter infused with dried mint and red pepper flakes. If desired, sautéed onions or sautéed minced meat prepared in butter may also be added to the soup.
