Recipe
To prepare pişmaniye, flour is first roasted. Sugar is melted in a pan with a small amount of water and stirred until it reaches the proper consistency, after which citric acid is added. Once the mixture thickens, it is poured onto a large tray and shaped into a ring. Four to five people work together to continuously stretch and rotate the ring, sprinkling roasted flour over it as they turn. Through repeated stretching, the mixture becomes fine, thread-like strands. The finished pişmaniye is placed on trays and served
