Baklava Dessert

For one tray of baklava, a dough is prepared by combining one cup of vegetable oil, three eggs, one cup of yogurt, half a cup of milk, one tablespoon of vinegar, and a pinch of salt. The dough is divided into walnut-sized portions and rested for half an hour. The first 20 sheets of dough are placed in the tray, and a layer of crushed walnuts is sprinkled as a filling between the layers. The baklava is built up to 40 layers and cut in the center to create a star shape. Historically, baklava was prepared in large copper trays and baked in neighborhood ovens. Today, it continues to be baked both at home in electric ovens and in traditional neighborhood ovens.
