Colostrum Bread (Gömme)

Recipe

A dough is kneaded using the first milk of a cow after giving birth, commonly known among the public as colostrum. Soda and sugar are then added to the dough. It is flattened by hand, arranged on a tray, and baked. In the past, gömme was cooked between two metal griddles, whereas today it is baked in a tray.
