Pitched Battle took place. The defense line
extending in the north-south direction turns
in the West-East direction along the Ilıcaözü
stream. On the first days of the war, when
the Ilıcaözü stream was red because of the
bloodshed, the green Ilıca Valley was in
flames and smoke.
